SimplyNano 2 project in Central Switzerland

The completion of the "SimplyNano 2" project in Central Switzerland marked another milestone in the promotion of STEM subjects in schools. Thanks to funding from foundations and companies, a total of 91 secondary schools and grammar schools have been equipped with over 1,070 free "SimplyNano 2" experiment kits. The schools received class sets of 10 to 16 cases, which are now being used in NT lessons. In addition, 10 further training courses for teachers were held directly at companies. The project was thus not only able to convey innovative teaching content, but also create a cross-cantonal platform for vocational training between schools and companies. With the implementation in Central Switzerland, the "SimplyNano 2" experiment kits are now successfully established in sixteen cantons and are making a sustainable contribution to promoting technology in education.
