SimplyNano 2 project in the canton of Schwyz
A total of 200 free "SimplyNano 2" experimental kits and learning workshops were made available to secondary schools and high schools in the canton of Schwyz. Accompanying half-day training courses for teachers took place in spring 2023. The courses were held in cooperation with companies from Schwyz. Thus, the project brings exciting content and creates a "bridge" between schools and companies. For the schools, the suitcases and continuing education courses are free of charge. The project is funded by the Asuera Foundation and the Dimitris N. Chorafas Foundation and other partners. The "SimplyNano 2" learning media are already being used in ten cantons in all upper grades. The canton of Schwyz is the first canton in central Switzerland where the new learning medium is available to all upper grades.
